CHINESE ANNUAL CONFERENCE PRESIDENT

President Liew Kek Ming comes from Manjung and in 1996, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Divinity (BD) from Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM).  His first posting was to Pioneer Chinese Methodist Church.

In 1999, President Liew was ordained as deacon and in 2001, he was ordained as elder and served as pastor in-charge of Pioneer Chinese Methodist Church.

Rev Liew obtained his Masters in Ministry (M.Min) from STM in 2003 and the Masters in Theology (MTh) in 2008 from Trinity Theological College, Singapore, specializing in church history.

He was appointed as the District Superintendent of Manjung District from 2012-2017.

In April 2022, President Liew was elected as the Acting President of CAC at the Executive Board Meeting and in the 47th Session of the Chinese Annual Conference, Rev Liew was elected as the President of CAC.

Rev Liew is married to Pei Chin and blessed with three daughters.
